Thandal
a) Your tech specs and install type might help to identify some potential issues (e.g. what video card are you using?) b) Without having your full list of mods, no way of knowing which ones might be causing your issues. c) In any case, once you've ruled out hardware or missing patches as the source, the standard approach is to remove ALL mods, then add them back in batches. Try half of your normal ones first. No problem? Add half the remaining. Still no problem? Add half the rest, etc. until you find the one(s) causing the issue. Problem occurs with the first batch? Remove half and try again. Rinse - Repeat. (To save you time, the mod most likely to cause a crash when employed with certain others is "Improved Atmosphere". Are you using that one?) Thandal
You didn't provide the most crucial piece of information; what video card and video driver you're using. (I'm guessing it's the "Intel integrated HD-graphics".) But that said, if you were able to install and play the game before you used "Improved Atmosphere", then I think your problem can be traced to IA. It's a great mod. But it makes so many changes to the way the game operates, and especially in the items that exist, (even providing whole new materials from which things can be made) that it cannot reliably be used with any other mod that also does some or all of these things. And items are stored as ".uti" files, as it appears you already know. There are known issues with certain items, in certain situations, in certain locations (like a particular set of custom robes on any Mage Companion when in Denerim.) And probably lots of other "unknown" issues just waiting to crash the games of players like you. Even uninstalling IA may not resolve all the issues, leaving saves that cannot be loaded at all, even with "Force Load". So the best advice I can give you is to remove IA and start over, or at least start from the latest save you can successfully load.
