Anarchist86ed
As you can see, nifskope has no problem with this model. But GECK says it's an unknown nif version. I'm at my wits end with this. The model was a native .nif file so I saw no reason to try and re-save it with blender, which refuses to export .nif files despite all of the thousand plug ins I had to install to blender to make it import .nif files. neunen
the geck wants the nif version specific to fallout (20.0.7 i think?), whereas nifskope is for all nifs. there are probably a number of shader flags and nodes that would have to be changed, or possibly the entire structure of the nif might have to change depending on wheres its originally from. ive not done it myself so i couldnt say. Anarchist86ed
I guess I'm making progess. Geck no longer refuses the nif version, but it does not show up in the geck. It's invisible... Fun times.
