Tr0n226
Hey there, I don't know if anyone else has been having this problem (I always seem to get the rare ones with games) but for some reason Robert's Female Body Replacer v1.2 ( http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15624 ) isn't appearing in my game when I install it and I don't know how or why it isn't. I've followed the instructions in the readme file exactly, but to no avail. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, tried a couple different races, equipping and unequipping clothes, making new characters, making sure it's the only mod in there, etc. I even had a friend install it on his version of Oblivion GotY (retail) and it worked just fine for him (he had no other mods present in his data folder). When I went and reinstalled the mod on my own copy after wiping it out of the data folder, nothing, just the default character body and texture. I'm at a loss. We installed it the exact same way (the way the readme said to). It worked for him, not for me. He's on vista, I'm on xp. Our games are both patched the same (v. 1.20461 I think). His is Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (retail), mine is Oblivion Deluxe Game of the Year Edition (steam). Can anyone help with this? Has anyone else ever ran across something like this or maybe have some idea as to the cause? My friend and I are stumped. It makes no sense to either of us as to why it's not working in my game. If someone can help then please, help. I really want this mod to work. -Tr0n226 UPDATE - Well after more testing and poking around the game files, utilities, and internet I was finally able figure out how to get the body replacers working on my own and wanted to post my solution for anyone else having problems with it. For some odd reason when I followed the instructions in the readme (and I did so exactly), the replacements wouldn't display in game for me. I eventually tried turning the archive into an omod file using the oblivion mod manager here ( http://timeslip.chorrol.com/obmm.html ) and enabling it. This fixed my odd problem immediately (btw if you want the more revealing version of the replacers you'll need to extract the archive and configure it as described in the readme file before converting it to an omod). :thanks: OBMM staff for this awesome utility!
