yunakri
I've never had this problem with previous installs... but I have recently reinstalled Oblivion with several new mods I wanted to try out. So far everything is working perfectly except my character is literally stumbling around. It only happens on occasion... sometimes one fall after another. I haven't been able to figure out what triggers it. Basically, I'll be walking around and all of a sudden my character stops and I see their hands fly in front of them, they crouch for a moment, and stand back up and I can move again. It all happens in about a 2 second period. The mods that I *think* could be causing it are "Stealth Overhaul" and "Deadly Reflex v5". Here is a list of my currently installed mod list (from OBMM, but I use both OBMM and Wrye Bash). All mods highlighted in red are new mods added this reinstall (if just the version number is highlighted, I just updated to a new version). I use OBSE v0017b and sort my load order by hand (no BOSS or FCOM Helper). EDIT: I am having trouble recreating the problem. I ran around once with both Stealth Overhaul and Deadly Reflex disabled, once with just Stealth Overhaul disabled, and once with only Deadly Reflex disabled... I couldn't recreate the problem until I enabled both of them again (but even then, my character stumbled only once). I have a feeling the two mods are conflicting with each other... if I can't find the problem specifically I'll probably just disable Deadly Reflex. It doesn't do much for me now anyways (considering how horse combat isn't included in version 5).
Dracula420
what do you have your deadly reflex dodge key bound to? is it something close to another well used button that your hitting by accident? because it sounds like the duck you do when you press the dodge button while standing still. try reseting deadly reflex before your unistall anything. yunakri
Yeah, I thought that too. My dodge key is the 'v' key, but I watched my character carefully and she stumbles most often when I'm looking down (not completely at the ground... like halfway between floor and straight up) and am running into an object like a barrel or rock. When I disable Stealth Overhaul (with Deadly Reflex enabled), I cannot recreate this problem. I've done extensive testing and I just can't get her to trip up... same if I have Deadly Reflex disabled w/ Stealth Overhaul enabled, which is the way I am playing now. Thanks for the suggestion; I didn't think about that myself until late yesterday. But alas, that's not the problem either.
brianb123
Had same problem no matter what i did ...uninstall V5 of deadly reflex and install V6 seems to work better but no hose combat :( in V6 Yeah, I thought that too.
