Sypron
Now, let me just say i can't make this mod myself. it requires to people, a modler and a scripter. Now i remember someone saing "is there any mod which make it so your not stuck in the same posistion when your weapons out, like, carrying aand axe right next to the herad or something." well i've worked out how. start with a simple gauntlet, say, steel and then open it in the 3D studio max or whatever. now add in a steel longsword. put it in the hand of the gauntlet.make the mesh into a gauntlet in the construction set. Now what you have in morrowind is a normal piece of armor that looks like its holding a weapon. now back in the construction set, make a steel longsword with no mesh. add a script to the armor piece that adds the custom sword when you equipt the armor. So in morrowind, you have a no existant weapon in your hand but it looks like your holding one. then you draw your weapon and the real weapon doesn't appear, but theres a weapon there. Have I lost you yet? this also means it still is in your hand when you cast spells. Anyone can freely make this and i need no credit for this. it is simply and idea, but if someone does make it i would very much like to use it. Marxist ßastard
With Morrowind's wacky animations, it will be very hit and miss finding a position for the sword to be held in where it won't slice clean through the PC's armor at some point, and the final resting place of the sword should be very awkward. Expect the sword to be placed between the thumb and forefinger of the gauntlet, held perpendicularly to the body. The wanted effect will only happen should the PC be wearing your gauntlet and your weapon. It looks like you've solved this problem in the same fashion that Apollo 11 fixed the lack of Oxygen on the moon. There's no way to stop the weapon and armor equip/unequip sound effects from going off. It will be paifully obvious when the script is taking any action.
Sypron
okay, i don't understand the first point, but thats just me, and the script? you could do it without the script but if you ever drop the weapon in the game world as apose to a container, you would not be abel to pick it up.
