coronbale
First off, I would like to bow down to the gods of the mod world. What you guys do is nothing short of magic. Ive worked in gaming for a while, 4 years with Activision, EA, a few others, and while my focus has always been on the business side of the gaming industry, I am always amazed by the gamers ability to make an idea into a rockstar creation sharable with the rest of the community. Tip of the hat to you magicians. Secondly, I have played through Fallout 3 several times, and am on the lookout for something that will truly ignite my attention in the game again. This may already be out there, so if I could be pointed in the right direction, I would be in your debt. Here it is. I am a HUGE fan of the old zombie movies. Since the 1979 Dawn of the Dead, I don't think a game has captured the kick-assness of a zombie apocalypse better than Zombieland. That being said, what never gets old? Zombie killing. My idea for the mod would be a dynamic zombie spawning system, possibly using the models of the current ghouls in the world (both those already bad, and the kindly ghouls in Underworld). This would have course greatly increase the combat in the game, as I'm thinking from point A to point B, you would be shooting frequently at zombies, and avoiding/blowing up large clusters of zombies. They would have to be a bit on the slow side (no track star zombies, more like Dawn of the Dead 79' zombies), and as a result, they would probably have to drop ammo. Wouldn't be a zombie apocalypse without having to gather ammo (more importantly, you would need ammo to help purge the land of these homo-sapian snackers. Thanks a ton for reading, and for taking the time to make your ideas a reality for us, the players. Will keep in touch!
isgod101
Well... There was a mod that added feral ghoul spawn points everywhere. But it was taken down as it bloated save games and caused crashes.
coronbale
Ahh, gocha. Ive found a few select spawns. Mainly centered around a single location, IE the graveyard. Thanks for the response!
