ChrisPydtank
Well I would say whoops but as I was waiting for your reply I was extracting the weapons and stuff... the same situation occurs... I cant see the rendered Mesh of any weapon... so even if its wrong... I dont think all of them have special one... I really think NIFSCOPE is missing something... maybe Im suppose to setup something that i havent to stop that box happening... I dunno... but at the end of the day my issue is actually being able to do anything with any mesh... even if it has "rr"...
ChrisPydtank
Well you dont have to help i never said I need help how... i need help wondering why I cant do what everyone else can... im sure someone else can... your not really understanding my point anyways so please listen... again the issue is nothing to do with getting a certain mesh (File)... the meshes wont load at all... if the mesh dont load properly then I cant do anything... no BSShader is in any... who cares if I get that file... I know it wont work... thats the problem!!!

Skree000
ok well now we are getting somewhere. What version of nifskope do you have? there is a conflict with certain versions that causes things to not open properly. Niftools team is working on the problem but until then i believe the latest release (ie. this weekend) of NifSkope: 1.0.20 ? is the most stable one. let me confirm, one sec (and i didnt tell you off... i tried to help three times, and three times told to read instructions, each time you didnt, and skipped steps. yet here i am still working with you on the problem :) Because im a nice guy ;)) You say im not understanding your point, however i am understanding perfectly. There is an issue with the nif file, you are getting an error message, and there is nothing appearing in the render viewport. This is caused by 2 possible things:Bad Nif or Bad Nifskope. Most of the time, when people see that bug, its because THEY messed up the file somehow. Ive done it myself enough to know this. Ive broken alot of nif files in my day. All it takes is touching the wrong thing, then poof, its broken. It can be fixed, but its easier to start from fresh. The reason why i was stressing to open the correct file is because:One, Each nif's structure is vastly different from eachothers. "Line 123" in one nif might have a one thing in it, but "Line 123" in another nif might not even exist, that nif might end at Line 50. The 'lines' change when you make a serious modification to a file, then save it. The 'auto-sanitization' reorders these blocks as it sees fit. So if you arent opening the right file, you will run into obvious problems. If 'Line561' of a vanilla mesh you have is NOT the same as 'Line561' of a the same vanilla mesh >I< extracted, this is likely caused by the fact that one of us modified our files Can you show me a screenshot of the file in your browser, showing the date modified? id be very surprised if the date modified was not today, because you had already changed the file and modified it up somehow
ChrisPydtank
Well what you said was rude... well the way you said it... even tho i skipped steps which I didnt I actually forgot the wrong door the first time... (Door 87) The second time, well coz my vault is Rusty I thought I should get that one instead... but already had the other one anyways... but it really didnt matter since I tried loading a weapon mesh... 10mm to be exact... the same box came up... didnt see the mesh in the render window like you suppose to... its 1.0.9... but ive tried 1.0.8,7,6... getting lower was my next step but it would be conflicting what the video said and like you said... dont skip instructions... he says get latest... and stuff get fixed anyways... so something else might go wrong... I think I tried the other versions on XP... so if you think its beter to try XP I can... otherwise if Vista is ok... well I dunno whats going on with NIFSCOPE... ChrisPydtank
ok... well I couldnt of done anything... all i do is load FOMM and unpack BSA... i locate the vault door... click extract... when it asks, click the folder I put it in... which is the pics you see up of my OS Explorer window reflects this Fallout 3/Data/Meshes/Dungeon... then I tried both loading NIFSCOPE and load the file in it... or right click and open with NIFSCOPE... and I also had option to edit with NIFScope... so i just... well... load it and sit and wait... straight away the box comes up... keeps going on and on... then stops... everything loads and all I get is the pictures of NIFScope above... Skree000
Please get the latest version of nifskope, it is called(becareful though, SourceForge's release system is currently sorting releases alphabetically rather than by release date;) NifSkope: 1.0.20 edit sorry, newest version is 1.0.21, just came out here, i will send you the link you need and everythinghttp://sourceforge.net/projects/niftools/f...ws.exe/download if you have any further troubles with nifskope in particular, you might consider checking the Nifskope/Niftools forum. Here is an example of a guy with your exact problem, posting about it. The forum members tell him to get the latest version to fix it. He does, and it works. (quote) Yeah, im now getting a NEW problem... trying to load up an exported vanilla table from the game, but it just keep sfiring up this bloody eror in nifskope (using the latest btw; 1.0.9) CODE""device position incorrect after block number 0 (BSFadeNode) at 459 ended at 459 expected 551""""device position incorrect after block number 2 (hkPackedNiTriStripsData) at 559 ended at 875 expected 2910""""device position incorrect after block number 3 (bhkPackedNiTriStripsShape) at 2910 ended at 2914 expected 2966""""device position incorrect after block number 4 (bhkMoppBvTreeShape) at 2966 ended at 2982 expected 3651""""device position incorrect after block number 5 (bhkRigidBody) at 3651 ended at 3671 expected 3887""""device position incorrect after block number 6 (bhkCollisionObject) at 3887 ended at 3891 expected 3897""""device position incorrect after block number 7 (NiTriStrips) at 3897 ended at 3909 expected 3998""""device position incorrect after block number 8 (BSShaderPPLightingProperty) at 3998 ended at 3998 expected 4052""""device position incorrect after block number 9 (BSShaderTextureSet) at 4052 ended at 4052 expected 4142""""device position incorrect after block number 10 (NiMaterialProperty) at 4142 ended at 4142 expected 4190""""device position incorrect after block number 11 (NiTriStripsData) at 4190 ended at 4190 expected 41932""(endquote) anyways, as you can see, he is also wrong, he believes that version 1.0.9 is the latest. Once he got the REAL latest version, that problem went away :)

ChrisPydtank
YAY!!! I CAN DO IT... I SEE THE MESH!!!! BUT ITS LATE SO ILL TRY TEXTURES IN MORNING!!! and yeah I split my Drive in 2 so I can make loading bit easier... dont think im a noob or try to correct me... coz try explain why I did it before and a computer store confirmed that it worked!!! I had issue on another computer that had everything on 1 drive letter and the start up after logging into profile took ages to load everything... and i did all the optimizing stuff... so all my space was together... but when i partitioned and put games and demanding programs on the other drive... well... it went fast again... its weird but it seems to work for me... who knows maybe there is something more technical... anyways... im happy... thats all i needed i guess... a newer version... i thought 1.0.9 was the latest... so... Im happy now... thanks so much for your help... thanks everyone... this topic will stay open for another bump in the road i get... I WILL TRY TO LEARN BY MY SELF!!! but like i said... im new to it... and ive done pretty good so far... my vault is running nice... but alot to build lolz... now i can finally get vault door to say 74... instead of blank... now i gotta work out how to get the numbers layers and try to get the vault jump suit texture and make my jump suit have custom numbers... im sure someone might tell me their is files already made... i hope so... but if not ill work it out and put it for download... wish me luck :P
