Stuck as Child After Tranquility Lane

Well, I was doing tranquility lane but I couldn't get into it unless I manually inserted myself. (CoC TLAbandonedHouse). Then, the only way I could get out was to turn off all of my mods. (fook 2, wmk, point lookout, the pitt, broken steel).

 

So, at this point I was able to get out of the "dream machine" but the only caveat is that I am now a child...My pip boy is gone too, which is primarily my concern.

 

Player.equipitem 15038 1 does equip a pipboy 3000 but I can't see it. If I remove the pipboy I go back to my childrens watch. So, gameplay is fine with the mods turned back on but I can't access my pipboy which is kind of a big problem.

 

 

So, is there a special command to get back the fook pipboy, or any pipboy, so that I can play?

 

I could go back to a save before the tranquility mission, but I imagine I would be stuck in the same position i am now. Is there any way to just finish the TL mission with a command so that dad and I can go to rivet city and I don't get stuck as a kid?

strange, all you have to do is equip the vault jumpsuit and activate the empty cabin

 

all i could offer you is this:

 

make a new save (so you keep a backup)

 

first try this:

go to console and type:

 

completequest 14E8A (in the event, the quest just wasn't logged as finished, if your lucky that changes you back to an adult)

 

if that doesn't work try to reset it:

 

to reset the quest:

 

console:

 

resetquest 14E8A

 

and here you have 2 options:

 

option 1: completequest 14E8A

 

option 2: play it again like you should

 

make it your active quest

 

type: movetoqt (that should move you right to the bot that hands you your clothes)

 

type: moveotqt (that should bring you to the empty pod, make sure you actually equip your jumpsuit)

 

if you still have no pipboy:

additem VaultSuit112

equipitem VaultSuit112

 

now you should be able to enter the pod

 

enter the pod, talk to betty at least once

 

go to the abandoned house and activate the security override

 

go back outside and talk to betty (to be on the save side, play through all speech options)

 

leave through the door

 

now you should be an adult again

Thanks man, great advice. What ended up working is I dumped all my gear outside bob casey's, then I saved. I restarted the game except without any mods or fook or anything. Completed the mission. Thank God.

Just in case anyone ever has this problem again, here is a workaround I created to fix the bug that prevents you from entering Tranquility Lane. I had the same issue. Had to use the console to teleport my character into TL, and then when I teleported out, I was turned into a child without all my gear! This fix should correct those parts of the script by getting you into TL via the Vault 112 Pod, as an adult with all of your gear. Then to get back out, start the quest by talking to one person about Betty, then activate the FailSafe, attack Betty (YES, attack Betty), and instead of being killed, the mod makes the Exit Door appear.
