Story after Skyrim?

I was recently reading a proposal on /r/teslore about the Dragonborn and the potential for apotheosis throughv'soul stacking'. This is generally regarded as the Way of the Dwemer, one of the Walking Ways Vivec speaks of, and can loosely be discovered ones as compinikg the finate powers of souls until the total combined power approaches the infinte.

By absorbing Dragon Souls, the Dragonborn becomes more powerful, and since dragons are considerably stronger than mortals, godhood may be easier to attain... Imagine if the Dragonborn becomes Akatosh, by absorbing enough of the time-dragons scatters fragments.

Or, equally likely, Alduin...

Now that's a thought to cringe at.

Maybe that's where Dragons come from... The Greybeards say dovaah can absorb each others souls, but we never actually see this... Maybe the Dovah are actually fragments of Alduin, and HE needs to vanquish a Dragonborn before he cam regain the ability to absorb those fragments again, and thus regain the power to eat the world. With all that Mantling, achieving Divinity and other metaphysical stuff that cannot easily be implemented into games, this is actually our best explanation for the existence of dragons so far. Maybe we haven't taken the term "Dragon Break" literally enough...?
