A Halo 3:ODST Firefight mod Modification Request for Fallout 3

Alright so I don't really have time to study the script of Fallout 3 right now and I was wondering if anyone could do this for me:

-Make some maps and enemies for a firefight look-alike

-Make a firefight mode where if you have phalanx or SCC or Vanilla your followers get put in a room on wait and you get 4 followers

-Make Halo 3:ODST enemies

-Make a firefight mode look-alike

Suggestions wanted!

go buy UT2004 and install the halo mod. There ya go.

 

What your asking for is massive. And if you want it not to be rips it's about 30+ models and textures. Maps alone would take weeks to make. And a firefight mode is pretty much impossible in the FO3 engine.

then I guess i'll get to work on trying to figure that out with my favorite tool,FOSE

 

EDIT:wouldn't a firefight mode just be spawning them?cuz I have no problem with them just spawning there

if you just want to have a set location to constantly spawn enemies then thats easy. (more or less)

 

But if you wanted a halo version it's very difficult, and would be even harder so if you wanted to do it without converting anything.

 

If you want the whole thing as you said, then it's easily a 2-3 month long job that would require 5+ people to pull off. hence why i said to just pick up UT2004 and install the halo mod, basic same thing. or just go play ODST.

0oh I don't really care about the actual halo stuff I just want a firefight mode semi-look-alike for fallout 3 :mellow:

and I don't really have enough money for a 360 or UT2004 but ive played both

That would be pretty fun. It guess it'd probably be a staged timer of sorts, but what would it be based on? Number of kills (which I don't know is possible with creatures), or time?

hmmm. I think there is a get cause of death command so I think you could do it based on kills because time would just mean that you hide in a corner the whole fight

True. Every round or so you could receive a reward, with the rewards getting better every round you complete. I think ammo drops across the map would be useful too. The maps themselves wouldn't be that hard to make in comparison to the large worldspace I'm working on, but I don't have time to do it right now :( .

same here. I don't have much time to work on or test this.and I hate navmeshing.so that's why I put this in the modification requests board.

When I finish this mod, (probably early 2010, January or so) this sounds like a fun project to work on. I'll keep it in mind.
