I need help error 5:0000065434

Hi

i bought fallout new vegas on steam ..... and i install a bunch of mod using the NMM but when i try to start the game it give me the error Application Load Error 5:0000065434' .... so i tried use NVSE

but it tell me can't find steam.exe

how i resolve this problem ?

go to nexus fnv mod site, download and install nexus mod manager (nmm) and ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated mod

run nmm and select fnv from the list of game it shows, once nmm has found fnv then you are ready to continue ( I always run nmm as administrator)

1. top menu untick ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated, then deactivate all your mods except ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated mod then tick ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated

now you have standard game without mods, use top menu launch fnv and hopefully it will run.

now activate each mod 1 at a time using step 1 and hopefully you will find which mod is causing your problem

 

note if you select plugins menu and left mouse click on each mod it will show you if that mod needs other mods to run, if it does then make sure

the needed mod is loaded first using the arrow keys to more its position up the list. falloutNV.esm must always be on top

nvse has caused me many problems so I only use mods that don't need nvse and I always allow nmm to download (not manual) and install mods for me
