SP Cookie
Okay, I am pretty new to modding (Like just started using them a couple of days ago).I have figured out how to work the mods that just have a single ESP file fine, and they load up no problem. The problem I have is that if I try to add a mod which adds in quests/weapons, my game will not start up at all. It'll start to load into the game, I'll get a flash of the loading screen, then it quits out and I get the "Fallout 3 has stopped working" error. I have no idea why it does this, but it has happened with a few mods now.The latest mod I tried to use was THIS, but the same thing happens.Few things to get out the way: I used FOMM to install the mod, but it did the exact same thing as drag/drop into my data folder.I have Archive Invalidation already activated. Hope someone can help me!

csb
Two things that come to mind immediately: Do any of the mods you installed require FOSE (Fallout Script Extender)? Is FOSE installed (the FOMM launcher button will read "Start FOSE" instead of "Start Fallout3")? Have you tried unchecking the mods in FOMM and then enabling them one at a time? Finally: get FO3Edit by ElminsterAU and Miax's great FO3Edit Guide. This tool is hugely invaluable for detecting and resolving mod conflicts and is fully compatible with FOMM. Hope this helps. Wis3boi
FO script extender is a must have for many mods, and is likely causing it. LIVE is not needed to play FO3, so don't worry about it not being there. It's useless unless you want achievemnts
