Load order problems?

I added a mod to make Nirnroot make a loud sound so it's easier to find, They're easily missed so a small hint would be nice. Also I noticed that Better Cities wasn't updated so i updated it. But I was stupid and didn't go in a cell not related to BC before. So I'm thinking it's BC that caused my game to CTD all the time now when I try to get in game. But it might be load order so could someone tell me if something is wrong with this?

I took out the mods that were merged with bashed patch. Any mod below bashed patch is because BOSS didn't recognize it. Although I thought Deadly Reflex was supposed to be after bashed patch. Oh well it worked in this order before.

 

So what could be wrong? I click new game, load game, or continue and it loads maybe a half an inch in the loading bar and it crashes.

I find it funny. I come here at least one a month or every two months to fix my load order or something. I've learned that turning off Better Cities causes my game not even to start. I click on OBMM to start Oblivion and it brings up a window but then it goes away real quick like it didn't happen. Why is it whenever I screw up my mods and I fix the mod that screwed everything up it stays screwed up.

So it crashes without Better Cities? The save game may have become dependent on it. Use Wrye Bash to change the ESM to an ESP in the save and try to load your game.

After installing and uninstalling BC did you rerun TES4LODgen thats been the only way i have been able to fix the CTD.

No I do not even know what that is. Maybe that will work.

 

Also to the other person. It crashes to desktop even with BC but that's only when I try to load a game. But if I uninstall BC it doesn't even start. I click Launch Oblivion in OBMM and it shows the OBSE cmd window and then it closes and that's it. It says on Xfire I started playing and quit right after.

Well if you don't want Better Cities (I don't like it that much, but that's just me), then uninstall it and use Wrye Bash to change the ESM to an ESP in your save game. Then you should be able to run the game. Also, I wouldn't recommend running the game through OBMM. Use the OBSE launcher by itself.

I do want better cities. I'm not sure if I set it up wrong or what. I'm going to uninstall the whole thing and try using just the first one instead of the latest update. That other thing didn't work.

Both didn't work. I reinstalled Better Cities and tried uninstalling it the way you said. Anyone have any clue why it won't work? Does someone have a link to 4.3.6 Better Cities? The mod doesn't have it's old files listed. I was doing completely fine until I updated the mod.

Any other ideas? I really had a good setup and I probably won't try to reinstall until next year because of this other game. I was switching between Oblivion and Demon's Souls. But now it's just Demon's Souls because Oblivion keeps CTD. I miss Oblivion.

 

EDIT: I deactivated all my mods except the Oblivion.esm and it works although a few things look messed up because of aesthetics controlled in other mods. But I'm not sure what is wrong.

I've changed my load order around and got 4.3.6 BC back. Still doesn't work. Here is my new load order I'm keeping the old one up in case there was something about it. This one only has the gameplay changes and world changes and FCOM kind of mods on. All the armors and weapons are off along with any quest. Races are still on.
