CatsfromElsweyr
It's Elsweyr - Deserts of Anequina by Iliana. I'm trying to fix the textures of the Khajiit so they use the female footpath (it'll look wonked-up if I don't, and it's bothering me). I have the Robert-HGEC Anequina races mod, as well. But the game isn't the problem. Every time I try to edit Oblivion using the Anequina mod, my CS crashes when I try to save it. If I use, for example, CM partners with nothing else, and make a mod for the game, it works perfectly. It's just this one mod that's being a poop. I can do everything just fine on it; edit faces, fix the texture paths, etc. But every time I try to save it, the CS literally just stops working and forces me to close it. If I don't use Anequina, and I save a mod, it works perfectly and can be played as normal. Another time that it happened was when I was adding more eyes to the Khajiits of the game. I figured I'd fix Iliana's Khajiit so the eyes would fit better. It refused to let me save it, and just crashes each time. Obviously, I don't need the fixed textures. But, with my obsessive self, I'm not gonna stop until I get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! mhahn123
I've made several patches for Elsweyr-Deserts of Anequina and had a problem with the CS crashing once. In fact Ive only had that sort of problem twice, and both times it was related to my own changes to default settings in CS ini. In particular the setting for "UGridsToLoad" which controls how many game cells are visible in the CS. By default it is set to 5 which allows viewing of a 5 x 5 cell grid. If you have it set to more than 5, the CS will struggle and sometimes crash with very large mods or with mods that add a ton of objects in a relatively small area. This is of course directly tied to your PCs performance capability as well.
