Mesh Model Textures Issue

Lo all,

I recently sent a demo of my mod to a friend to test run for me, and after playing, his first comment was; nice - shame about the texture on the custom mesh.

I had a look myself at a screeny of his, and sure enough, the texture was this very bizarre bright blue colour.

In my game, the mesh appears textured and working, so what's causing this? Any ideas?

Cheers

Or possibly in the nif the texture is named to a different area such as C:\program files\fallout3\textures\. And should be named to just \Textures\MODname\texture.dds

or the texture might not be in the textures folder at all? maybe if its on some randomly named folder somewhere on your pc?

(or you didnt send him the texture?)

OH also make sure your friend sets up his FALLOUT.INI file properly (mydocs/mygames/Fallout3/FALLOUT.INI) change bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 to =1

Cheers fellas, it appears that he'd not changed his .ini file :)

I just noticed though that my FOMM has set my validation to 0, so I validated it again, and everythings the same as normal, except my pipBoy isn't showin up. Just an empty hand. Any ideas?

Cube Experimental, Real Time Settler and the Life of Raider Add On, Buildable Bots, WReality Haven, Bunker 72 (whatever the hell that is?!), Clear Skies, Yearlings Glasses, and my own mod that doesn't affect the pipboy in anyway at all.
