Deletingmachine
NOTE: This would likely be an easy mod to make: editing the PIP interface, toggling its features, and maybe some dialogue to enable the upgrades. The PIP is nice, but overpowered in terms of a wasteland survival game, especially for something you have right in the beginning. I want it to start as a bare-bones device that you have to upgrade. Different vendors could install components for a price- this is also designed as another way to spend some of that money that just seems to pile up if you're a diligent scavenger. If a feature isn't listed under a vendor name, then it's included in the PIP from the start. Or I forgot it :] TL;DR? Why would the PIP have combat-oriented features? It's a civilian device for living in a vault. Moira - Never seen one before, but can add rudimentary features. - Flashlight - Local Map[World Map is pretty vital to the game, so it should be either included or very easy to get] - Radio - Motion Sensor (Whatever you call it) Pinkerton - His additions require a more physiologically integrated device, and thus his medical expertise. - Health display on-screen - AP display - Geiger Counter: on-screen display. And if possible, the "+Rads" counts on food and drink. - VATS. Yes, you have to get this far to have VATS. It's cheat-mode anyway. Or maybe this feature could replace the Wired Reflexes perk. Those are the features already in the PIP. Additional features might be a possibility, but the above is what I'm concerned about. What good is the PIP without these features? Not much, of course. America has a habit of buying useless electronics, and the future will likely be no different. Maybe Vault-Tec wanted to sell more products, so they included wrist PDA's in the vault package and made them mandatory for all residents. PR department came up with a convincing reason for it. If you get this far, respond to me on AIM, please (screen name is the same as here). I have a habit of making forum posts and forgetting them.
