Zynoq
A friend of mine asked me to remove the balcony of one of the Skingrad houses. So i opened it up in blender and move the verticies of the balcony in towards the wall to reduce the size of it. Then i removed the doorway leaving a big whole i filled up. Then i exported it and use the old textures, i't worked surprisingly well. The only problem is that both the old wal and the new wall uses the same texture but still the new wall appears to be lighter. And when i try to change that texture it messes up the whole mesh. I've never been good with textrures so can anyone tell me what might could have gone wrong? And if there i's a better way of doing this i'd really apriciate some hints. http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg293/Zynoq/House.jpg
Vagrant0
It's probably the vertex colors. You'll need to make sure they all have the same shade. This would probably end up being quite a bit of trial and error, so your best bet might be to just move verticies so that one side of the door is stretching the whole way across the wall (the other side removed), and just change the UV mapping to make that wall more square and to correct for distortion.
