Stick with it :) ... Learning how to use FO3Edit is well worth investing your time in; you'll gain a valuable understanding of how to find and remove mod conflicts. That way you rarely (a) crash and (b) don't have the "perhaps I should uninstall some mods..." dilemma.

Fisrt off for the MMM Spawn Increase option, you have both "Increased Spawns.esp" and "Increased Increased Spawns.esp" loading. Only use one option.

I wouldn't delete any mods yet. Your mod list is pretty simple. And believe me as time goes on you will tempted to add more. Its freakin addicting. When you run FO3Edit look at the section that is listing the "Background Loader" Most likely you will see a fatal error message next to the trouble making .esm or .esp.

An Example from my mod list: "Background Loader: Fatal: <Exception: "VashDeagleV5.esp" requires master "MPammo.esp" to be loaded before it.">

While this particular error won't crash the game immediately. It can cause instability.

Also try FOMS (Fallout mod sorter) WARNING: Use the "Back Up" option before anything else. I don't use FOMS for sorting actually because I find it botches my load order, maybe because it needs to be updated but thats beside the point. Its great for spotting mods that conflict or mods that are just bogus.

Before you know it you will be tweaking the mods you have and even adding your own. :)

The best combination for mod utilities is Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) and FO3Edit. The first to handle installing mods (especially ones that are omod-compatible) and setting load order, the second to find and resolve mod conflicts. For FO3Edit, you'll also want to get Miax's great guide on using the utility, and finding and resolving mod conflicts. The two utilities are designed to work hand-in-hand, and both are Fallout3 variants of reliable Oblivion utilities (Oblivion Mod Manager and TES4Edit).
