Saiyajin123
Currently I'm working on Saiyan Armor. So far, I've gotten the main part of the suit done. This is the model of Saiyan Armor worn by Vegeta during the fight against Frieza. Here's a pic of it: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/1529719-1255841722.jpg I loaded the base male model into Carrera with my Saiyan armor to see how well proportioned it was. Not surprisingly, it was a bit unproportional. Now, I know that Blender, a program I have, can shrinkwrap clothing onto the model to fit it perfectly, but I've only seen one picture of such an example so I am not too familiar with the effects. Would using shrinkwrap erase the ridges on the armor shown in the picture? I would just try it myself, but therein lies my second problem. For some reason Blender says that I don't have Python installed and because of that, it won't allow me to open or import .3ds files. I have Python 3.1.1 installed on my computer but it still registers as me not having it. Does anyone know how to fix this? Possibly reinstalling Blender? neunen
i might be wrong but i believe that blender needs python 2.6. shrink wrap can be a bit tricky, and if you just put one shrink wrap modifier on the entire piece then yes it will basically flatten the entire piece of armor to the body. its best to use it with vertex groups for more control. but it can definitely get you well on your way to fitting the piece. youll just have to do some manual editing afterwards. there should be some documentation about the shrink wrap modifier in the blender noob to pro wiki hope that helps
