CherryTerri
I wish I could put in mods .. but I'm a bit wary since for some reason Morrowind crashes randomly on my pc for no reason. But for housing ... erm I just enter a random house, knock off the people in it ... and home sweet home! ;D

Faust870
I think the best place for a house would be Balmora, 'cause it's kind of in middle of everything. I've built my own house there with the construction set. Nerano manor is pretty good for new characters. You see, I have to agree with San, just simply because its the truth, Balmora is the center of everything really... plus it has BOTH Silt Strider and Mage Guild, so does ald'rhun... where I lived... I had the house with the freaky red lit shrine for a sub-basement... but considering each time I play this game I always try to play a little differently; for instance... I love the whole idea of a trap door for a room, in Pelagiad, some of the houses have a trap door that lead into where the bedroom and everything is, now mind you these are smaller houses,... but I'm not much of a packrat or anything so its cozy :P... I once lived on the streets of Balmora however hahha taht was interesting... Just used all the storage bins with my items :P... except I'd always forget waht was where

Killians5
I like the idea of taking one of those 2 big houses right outside of vivec (one of them has a woman standing outside talking about the bull netchs and 2 orcs on the inside....anyone know if those npc's have any missions or anything to do with missions or can i just kill them all and have a new home? Povuholo
I guess people like Balmora so much because it got:Transport: Mages guild and silt striderFactions: Mages and fighters guild, great house hlaalu and i'm not sure but i thought there was morag tong as well.Quests: Well all the guild quests ofcourse, but also a big part of the main quest! It just... has something. The only bad things about this is that modders often place their mods in balmora. Go to rpgplanet, and search for description: balmora. I believe you get around 20 pages. I like tel uvirith with the uvirith inside (combination of uvirith unleashed and another one) mod.
Uppermandible
I just finished making my own bunker outside of Balmora, actually. Of course, I can easily move it anywhere I want. because I'm awesome.
M'Aqui
M'Aqui doesn't have much loot, or a house. M'Aqui is quite contempt with just his boat and his fishing rod.
Zadestar
Easily Dura-gra Bol's house, I filled the house with candles and lamps, and now I can go in there and not be afraid of the dark anymore. I have like 50 in there, and if houses could burn down, my house would have been gone a few days ago. But I don't keep anything but lights there, I keep stuff to sell at the store on the floor, and my alchemy stuff on my pack rat in mournhold.
