There's an animation for the forward running movement and there's an animation for the sideways running movement but there's no animation if your moving forward and sideways in a diagonal at the same time, the game just uses the forward animation which looks completely disconnected with the direction that you're moving in. This problem exists since Oblivion and I've always been amazed that this was never addressed since it seems so easy to fix. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sucker123 Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 I can't remember which mod it was but i've seen one that changes the pistol/1handed-animation to exact that diagonal style with the gun held barrel down at thigh high.Since I'm fed up with the vanilla animation i'm looking for that mod too. I can only find this, it only applies to rifles though: As for the animations for moving forward, absolutely can be done. The problem is... there's too few animators in Fallout 3 modding, I can only name 2 person that I know who are good in making animations among the thousand's of modders. I've been using that mod for ages, the hold gun down animation is not released by the author yet, just a WIP and a video. He hasn't updated his mod for about a year. The running is awesome though.
