Eegxeta
Recency I have been having problems with my save becoming unusable if I make the slightest change to the plugins list or order even updating mods renders all my saves useless. I have 162 mods. I know that installing tons of mods could break a save, but if the a single thing changes in the mod load order or a single bit in a plugin changes the game just CTD(I assume that means crash to desktop). Is this normal or is there something I can do or install to prevent this?
chanchan05
Well, depends on the mods in question, but basically one of the mods you have doesn't want to move from it's load order. So basically, find out which one and leave it alone. Or add new mods to the bottom of the order.
Eegxeta
Well if I update a mod, which doesn't change the mod load order, the game CTD. Edited April 7, 2014 by Eegxeta
Eegxeta
Oh and while I'm at it I might as well ask how do you stop the NMM from adding another skyrim.esm to the plugins list?
chanchan05
Another? It shouldn't be doing that. What mod are we talking about anyway?
Eegxeta
It isn't specific to any one mod. If I install a mod, make a change to any mod I have installed or I change the mod load order the game just straight up CTDs when I try to load a save. chanchan05
Post your load order here. You mean it doesnt matter if the mod is in the bottom of the load order?

Eegxeta
Ok I just tested that and no adding bottom of the list doesn't CTD but that is the only thing that doesn't. It still CTD if I update a mod. Where do I find the file that stores the load order? Edited April 7, 2014 by Eegxeta
chanchan05
Run BOSS and just copy-paste the log for both recognized and unrecognized plugins here.
