Nagaoka
I guess I'm just not made for this kind of stuff. So much for my dream of becoming a Game Designer. I hope I'm not just nitpicking here. Game Designers don't need modeling skills whatsoever. At all. Game Designers are people who are just that, they design the game (obviously the task is divided up, you'll have a more specific role like "level designer"). It's very very difficult to be one though, because everyone does and it's not really a job you can just get hired for. You're more likely to get hired into it from another position in the company. Go to this site http://www.sloperama.com/advice.html to get the harsh truth and a lot of great information on what you need to do to. Now if it's a modeler you were really talking about, a game artist, then you can probably post on these forums and people will help you with whatever problems you're having. This advice is so readily available that no one would charge for it.
