lawlatn00bs
Hi I can't seem to get my OBSE oblivion launcher to work. My best theory tells me it's because I use an ISO version of Oblivion. No it's not illegal atleast in CT if you have bought the retail version and something happens to that CD, such as my 4 year old sister throwing it like a frisbee in the rain. Because of this i need to mount an ISO image of the game to play, as well as an ISO shivering isle expansion. When I installed the shivering isles it contained its own launcher I needed to put in my oblivion installation directory to replace the original launcher. This launcher does not bring me to the "Launch" menu where you can select the settings, mods, etc, but launches the game directly. My older launcher brings me to the launch menu where I can enable my mods and adjust the settings, but says "please insert CD" when I attempt to hit "Play Oblivion". So now when I use the OBSE launcher it says "Can not find Oblivion launcher please ensure OBSE Launcher is in same directory". This sucks because I'm getting a bit bored of the fighting in Oblivion and want to use Deadly reflex as it looks really amazing.

Pronam
Yeah, you can't use OBSE the same way as FOSE. You need the original cd. Besides.. OBSE launches the direct launcher of oblivion so you should get the same message anyway. If OBSE cannot find the launcher reread the readme/install it again. bben46
This site is not based in CT, so their rules cannot be used as an excuse for piracy. ANY use of a downloaded version except the officially licensed versions available through Steam or D2D is considered piracy. Many pirated versions and the D2D version will not work with OBSE.Don't be so cheap. buy the game, it's worth it. It's much better to have the disk. But if you absolutely insist on a downloaded version go ahead and download the steam.
Pronam
I missed the CT part and just having 2-iso part....Man, why don't you just buy the game...it isn't that expensive and it at least worth more than 6 times of the original price. Especially with all those OBSE-mods...and these people wonder why there hasn't been a new Elder scrolls yet...every bit helps, this doesn't. Me partly exaggerating things doesn't hurt. You not buying stuff will.
