senterpat Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Hello all, so I decided to have a go at animating, pretty straight forward, I have a deer model with a few poses and running/walking animations, however I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get them into the game. Specifically I need to know a bit more about specifics on exporting everything. I export the skeleton by itself as the skeleton nif, and then I exported the model and skeleton together for the model. I got it working fine with a vanilla animation, but since the model doesn't fit the shape it wont work. All the tutorials I could find were outdated, with half of the pictures no longer online, or didn't have specifics for Fallout. I'm using the default FO3 settings, with the exception of changing the material to skin. Everything shows up in nifskope fine, but doesn't show up in the geck. (it shows up if I use the model as a static, but not if I attach to my skeleton, which leads me to think it's something wrong with my skeleton. I am a noob to blender, and have gotten as far as I can with google, I now need the wisdom of the nexus :P IF anyone knows of tutorial for custom mesh/animation additions into fallout please let me know as well

spartenkiller897 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Troll? I wasn't trying troll, I was using my phone and hit post. On mobile it often double posts, how ironic.
senterpat Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 Still trolling, even if you hadn't posted it twice. It's obviously an accident when someone double posts. What's the point of asking someone why, other then to be a troll.
MartinPurvis Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I've never gotten as far as making my own creature before sorry, looks pretty hard to do for first time.
