CTD for unknown reason

Hey guys. Today I was playing Skyrim then I got bored so I went on to the chat here on the Nexus. But after trying to go back on to Skyrim it does the usual CTD after the Bethesda logo. I couldn't find anyone on the forums who had the same problem as me.

Is that load order sorted by BOSS 2.2? If not, start with that and post that log in spoiler tags. Crash at the Bethesda logo is most commonly a missing master file.

It's probably 2.2 because I've got the latest version of BOSS. I'm pretty sure it's not a missing master file as I've checked multiple time. But oh well I'll check again anyway. And thanks for the quick response!

Well it's started again now. No idea why. Not missing any master files. Can meshes/textures/scripts cause CTDs?

CTDs where? In game or before the main menu appears (new game, etc?)

 

If before the main menu appears, load up TESVEdit. It will throw you an error once it hits the mod that causes the CTD. Take note of the mod that it tried to load last before the error message, and voila, that's the cause of your CTD on startup.

I ran TES Edit and the error was something to do with mighty beasts vampire lord tretexture. But I dont even have that installed.

Yes! I got it! The Mighty Beasts mod was installed from NMM but when I uninstalled it the ESP file stayed in the Data folder so I had to go in and delete it manually, all my mods seem to be doing this for some reason. How do I give kudos?
