doomguy0
I used the search function but I didn't find any tutorials on how to make just the animations for a weapon. I always looked at new weapon mods that look amazing and fun to play. But when I try them, my immersion from the game breaks because I see a hand going through the clip or the hand not attached to a clip yet still lifting it. So the bottom line is I want to ask permission to make animations for people's weapons for nothing more than being on the credits list and to be known as the one who made the animations. But I don't know where to start. I have done 2d fps stuff ( namely doom, hence doomguy0) and I know how to work around with how to make things look good. :thanks: for any help. ecksile
As of now there is no way to add new animations to weapons unless you get rid of old animations. So basically u will replace another weapons animations in order to add new animations. I don't think the developers are ever gonna implement a fix for this but I've been told FOSE might be usable to make a cheap workaround. As tutorials go, i don't think i have ever seen a real animation tutorial just tutorials on how to use software to animate. For actual animation and learning the process ive had to take actual animation classes. The reason for this is because animating isnt as simple as it seems. Out of all the modding things modeling, texturing, scripting, and animating Animating IMHO is probably the hardest and the most time consuming. SpeedyB64
There actually are a couple of experimental ways of getting animations into fallout3, one of them involves using FOSE to force the player to do a custom idle animation of you reloading the gun when you hit the reload button. doomguy0
Well I wouldn't deal with that I could just give people who need animations for their first person type things. Because I would like to mod the first person animations.
