RipperNyght
Didnt have much luck trying to get an answer at *coughs* Bethesda *coughs* forums, so I thought I might come back to Nexus for an answer. I fixed the ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa problem But the other is this bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 to this: bInvalidateOlderFiles=1I know how to do it the problem is there is two separate ini files with the same lines of code. The Fallout.ini file and the Fallout Pref.ini file. Now which one do I change to a 1? Both? or either? or does it matter? Please I need a prompt answer so I can move on to finishing up my downloads and fixes before I play and install mods finally. I think I downloaded half the FO3 NEXUS files...LOL
TentenUK
I just mod Fallout.ini but i think if you have fomm (Fallout mod manager) it does it for you with a click of a button as does ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated

theLeeHarvey
If you have FOMM, you don't necessarily need AII, you can just use the archive invalidation feature of the mod manager. It works perfectly.
csb
Lee is absolutely right. But for those who don't use FOMM (why the heck aren't they? ), you can use AII, or go into the Fallout3.ini file in your Documents folder under My Games/...whatever, and edit the setting by hand. There are two essential utilities for Fallout3, IMO. Fallout Mod Manager and FO3Edit (and Miax's great guide on using it). The first to manage your files, and the second to detect and resolve mod conflicts.
