Prestige Classes

I would be tempted to say that the leveling mods that are already out there are more than good enough for providing some variety. If you really feel like changing class mid-way through, you can always open console and type "showclassmenu". About all that would be accomplished by having prestige classes like this would be in having some sort of quest that ends up giving you an item or some special spells. And in that case, you could have just asked for that.

 

What really gave birth to this idea for me is the sheer amount of content that's pouring out of the modding community. Judging from the Morrowind boards, I imagine the content is just going to keep on rolling out now that the serious modders know their way around the CS. So, you keep downloading this content and there's just soooooo much to do, but eventually you max out your major skills, reach your maximum level, and there's no more room to improve.

 

Basically, the goal I was shooting for with this idea was to make it possible for people who are still playing with maxed out characters to continue leveling up and advancing.

 

The quests and items would be more for immersion than anything.

 

So I suppose while possible, the only way it'd really be worth it is if people would be willing to include the increased level cap in new mods with new leveled lists. That does sound like an awful lot of work.

Well, that would essentially be the only way it would make sense. If something like this were part of an overhaul, a leveling mod, or atleast configured to work specifically with a group of mods.
