aquadragon97
Had a few thoughts cross my mind today, figured I'd start seeing if they were able to be done, if at all possible. 1. The idea was to somehow add Fable-esque qualities into Skyrim. Wasn't too sure what I was thinking for this, outside of flintlock weapons. Is there a mod out there somewhere with decent flintlock pistols? (The first one that comes up is a modified staff.)2. I kept finding whiffs that there was a Gundam Armor mod floating around, but I can't find anything definite. Does this still exist?3. If the second isn't possible, are there any mods I can do either make Skyrim more modern, or even futuristic? Any help would be appreciated. :)
chanchan05
Uh, if you want something Skyrim-like but Futuristic, why not just go Fallout? A lot of people tend to make overhauls that are more lore-friendly, the most decent "futuristic" stuff you will probably get are steampunk stuff passed off as Dwemer tech. WAAAAAY different.
chanchan05
IMO since post-apocalypse is in the future, it's still classified under futuristic, but then let's not argue semantics. :D Also AFAIK there are more futuristic stuff in Fallout than Skyrim. Most mods I see for Skyrim actually try to make it more medieval. You should try to look under the Dwemer category of mods. That's how most people insert "futuristic" stuff in Skyrim. Or go completely lore unfriendly and get the TARDIS. :D

Also, the most futuristic things Fallout has is portable nukes and a ridiculously hard add-on that I will never play again as long as I live. Scrapping the futuristic possibility then, what about the Gundam Armors that are floating out there somewhere? or a decent flintlock weapon mod? (The one that keeps surfacing doesn't even have bullets, it's just a re-skinned staff as I understand it.)
chanchan05
For Gundam armors I think you'd have to look outside Nexus at other sources like Dragonporn (Japanese and their naming  ). There's a huge repository of asian mods out there that aren't on nexus. DP is just a selection of mods from all over the world that doesn't exist on Nexus mostly. Rochester for example puts a more medieval England/France realm in the game, complete with huge castles, jousting tournaments, black knights, etc. Only thing is everything is in German. Anyway, almost anything that can be considered "futuristic" in Skyrim has been "Dwemerified". Heck I got night-vision goggles with a flash-light and threat assessment capabilities powered by a dwarven oil system. I've seen dwemer chainsaws, dwemer bio-enhancement suits, dwemer trucks, dwemer spider spybots... LOL. Haven't seen a decen't flintlock weapon because I don't go looking, but I remember there was a mod called Project Flintlock. Really starting to wish I could make mods myself. x_x I don't think I've found 80% of the things I've set out to find, lol.
chanchan05
Yeah, sometimes you just have to learn on your own. I've always wished there were Aedric Artifacts, like Stendarr's Hammer from Morrowind and the likes of Auriel's Bow. But after 3 years still none, I decided to learn making items LOL. I have 2 mos vacation before med school starts again, so I have some time to kill. However, seems like not enough time to do so. I managed to create a couple of basic enchantments and items for starter Aedric artifacts, but I don't know how to create re-textures, so I just have vanilla items with special enchantments for now. LOL.
