LE Free Heimskr from Prison

I love the Unofficial Skyrim patch, but one thing it does that I don't enjoy is that it causes poor Heimskr to get locked up in prison if you don't side with the Stormcloaks. Many people find him annoying, but personally, I enjoy having a self-proclaimed Assman like Heimskr spreading the word of Talos to the good folks of Whiterun.

 

Considering that the player can get out of jail for murder by paying 1000 gold, why not throw something in that lets us pay a hefty bribe to the Whiterun guards in exchange for not enforcing the White-Gold treaty?

 

Once paid, he can proselytize once again.

I was expecting to see a thread like this. I know 6 years passed after you post this but I want to see him out of jail and doing his stuff normally like before civil war questline. Searching a mod that allows us to save him from jail but nobody talks about that.

Tried pickpocketing jail key from the guards, opened the jail cell and then talked to him but he just says dishonorable dog, LOL.

I guess nobody will make a mod that allows us to save him from there. The only thing you can do is opening up console, clicking him, going out next to the Talos Shrine and then moving him to there.

Go to this topic and make Heimskr your potential follower. He is now following me everywhere, doing my stuff etc..

 

Be sure if your character is a male one you don't want to make him your lover xD.
