Collin Dowdy
Does anyone know if there are going to be as many or more side quests in oblivion as there were in the other TES games? I don't really play the main quests i just wander doin little stuff, and i was wandering if they would have more frozen nords or more daedric enchanted wives that lock their husbands outside? VaanicOne
well, there are 200 quests total, that's all the Info we have concerning quantities of quests. Some of the side quests include travelling inside someone's painting to find them, and angry daedra raining flaming puppies down on the land. Ancalagon
I have. I saw it on another thread somewhere, I believe it was on Elderscroll's official forums for Oblivion. Supposedly the quest involves an irate daedra who basically punishes a town by raining flaming puppies from the sky upon the poor souls. Most Priceless gaming moment award guarenteed to go to this incident. Added, since the new CS will allow you to create your own magic spells (according to the team diary on magic) that can affect the environment, I predict the main spell(s) of choice for many players will be flaming puppies, people, cats, deer, etc. At the very least it will make for some hilarious screenies... :P
loveme4whoiam
LMAO Too bad their restricting that spell creation thing in the CS, but since a guy did it for MW I'm sure it'll be possible for Oblivion. *In the voice of that white-haired weatherman on BBC* "Just to set everyones' minds at ease, I can assure you that there will NOT be a rain of flaming puppies tonight...* :D
Gabbemaster
Flaming puppies? I wonder what they will do next...I vote for flaming groupies! Travelling inside someones painting to find the quest or find the person?

Mali Kit
There is a 2 farmhouse near Kvatch you can't miss 'em. They both start on S. They both have there own quest one is about finding someone and the other is about killing bears. North of the roland jeseric's cabin is another farm where you can find another quest about goblin killing. If you take the long road from Cheydinhal to Leyawiin you will find Cropsford and south of the settlement a camp with some people who will need your help. If you proceed down the road you will find the Imperial Bridge inn, just turn left by one of the bridges if you're going south. The quest is about recovering something. Even more south is the Shrine to Noctural, you have to be level 10 to start the quest and it's worth it. The best quests are quests given by Daedra gods I completed all of them and they're really great especialy the prizes are valuable artifacts. FLAMING PUPPIES!! that was the best part of Oblivion. Cropsford had a quest? *looks for ressurection scrolls*
Abramul
http://blogs.warwick.ac.uk/images/lblackwe...necromancer.png I'd have to say the oddest misc quest I've come across is the 'slaughterfishing' one. Oblivion's slaughterfish are definitely uglier than MW's... EDIT: Hmm, the image isn't working...changed it to a straight URL
