fringrey Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 I love the Arborwatch house, but I hate the color of the upperclass furniture. I retextured the whole set, redecorated the whole house from the ground up and can't figure out how to link it to the furniture script. I've never fooled with the scripts before other than looking at them trying to figure out how they work. I've read scripting tutorials but I'm still confused. Do I write a whole new script? If I have to how do I get it to overwrite the old one? Help would be very appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mhahn123 Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 No need to fool with scripts at all in this case. When in the CS just select a piece of furniture you want to replace. Now at the top left of the screen click on "Edit" then "Search and Replace". Scroll through the list to your newly created piece and select it. This will replace the old vanilla piece with your new piece leaving any persistent reference info, script info intact. You will need to do this with each piece of furniture you intend to replace...but won't have to worry about scripting issues at all. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
