marcushugh
I start fallout after re-installing it. It worked fine last time, but i got a new computer. I have updated to patch 1.7, installed and updated the latest GFWL and searched for a solution. Whenever click on fallout it will come up with the start menu, but when i click play it will start to load the game and then come up with a message saying. fallout 3 has encountered and error and must close or something like that. Does anyone have a solution? :verymad: I think the pc is worse than my old one. I just uninstalled GFWL and it came up with "This application has failed to start because msidcrl40.dll was not found"PLEASE HELP
csb
Try disabling XLive using Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) by Timeslip.

csb
how? 1. Start FOMM, click the "Install tweaker" button.2. Check the box that says "Use fake xlive dll".3. Click "Close". Voila! No more xlive.dll.
