Antari2012
Since you can obviously attain an item with player.additem ID <quantity>, I was wondering how you use that on an item added by a mod? I've used the TES construction set to look, but can find pretty much everything but the ID of the items, be they weapons, spells, armor, etc. Sorry about the newbie kind of question, I just can't remember how after years of not modding. DrakeTheDragon
It's in a slimmed-down column right after the EditorID and/or the name, practically hidden in plain sight. However, this 'FormID' will only work for the last 6 digits of 8. The first 2 digits will always have to be replaced by the mod index of the plugin/masterfile they are from, determined by your overall load order. They're automatically calculated in the CS as well, but only among the files the CS has loaded at this point and their order. When in a complete load order as used for your play-through, they will differ no doubt. The mod-index is hexadecimal, and it's best to just read it up in the corresponding column inside a manager like Wrye Bash or OBMM.
