I have not posted in a while, been busy with college finals and other assignments. Been hectic to say the least. Anyways I wanted to shout this out,

 

I've been playing a lot of Oblivion lately, lol when I'm not having panic attacks over school work and finals but I manage to find some relaxation time. Also been playing it with tons of mods like Dalls_Merchant, Midas Magic, Living Economy, Natural Environments, OOO and MMM to name a few. During this time I have of course been inspired to do some modeling. So I hopped on deviantart.com to see what's going on there because it's a great place to to find interesting images, works, etc and so I found a bow image. I don't want to spoil it but this thing is freaking awesome... unique to say the least. Even if it doesn't get into the game I'll release it as a resource. I want to make bows, swords, house hold items like books, potion bottles, furniture, jewelry items etc.

 

At the moment I want to let my creativity go and not take request for TES IV Oblivion but in time I will. I model for Fallout 3, Jedi Knight Outcast, Crysis, and now Oblivion. It feels good to take on another challenge! Get my name out there more lol... :thanks: for reading

Here's my latest work,

 

This is a copy and paste from the Fallout3 forums, not from this site....

 

Holy fook I've outdone myself this time. I went to town on this fooker... not 100% done but VERY CLOSE. I need to:

  • do muzzle brake on lower barrel
  • work in secondary magazine for liquid barrel [cables near stock are liquid ammo carriers
  • add in carving uber details

 

I present to you, the Determinator, of my own concept design.

I'm really happy how it turned out so far. It was looking crappier earlier but I tried to make it more realistic with the launcher and scope so it's pseudo-modern, sort of.

 

EDIT: Progress on pistol grip

 

One down lol, the grip is finished. Much more fitting... more organic looking, it matches the stock end I think. This is turning out to be pretty beastly gun... much too good to give away but a promise is a promise. Haha.

 

Here's the finished grip. It has a tribal dragon on it. I think it looks pretty tight. It'd be nice to have some more tribal designs on the gun where there's nothing there, like above the trigger or on the stock or something.

I'm tired tonight.... get up tomorrow and upload the Robot model that I finished and exported. I seriously doubt it will ever get in the game, it's way high poly.

 

Don't know when this beastly gun will be done. I could call it good tonight... and then continue on a separate model for my own portfolio.... endless polies lol. We'll see how I feel tomorrow. I'm feeling this gun, it's really detailed and has it's own style, I just want to work on it over and over until I'm tired of it.

Gonna do a bump here.

 

Getting back into modeling and serious texturing tries. I'm working on a rocket launcher thing here to get my texture skills up.

Imma little too busy for requests but I'd love to get back into that once I get my .nif export plugin working in Maya and then ofc when my texture skills improve.
