Help!

I've got a bunch of mods that i've finally got to work together...

But now when i play it if i try to save the game, either auto, quick or ordinary, it crashes...

It seems i can't solve this and i realy want all the mods :(

open fomm,right click on load order,click copy load order to clipboard,

open new readme, paste it to readme, and then copy it to reply.

It isn't the number of mods, it's the type of mods and how they might possibly conflict.

 

That's why FO3Edit by ElminsterAU is such an invaluable tool. Insofar as Miax's great guide, the previous link is to the MS Word version, which is updated in the Web-enized version. At least until Miax revises the guide for v2 (which will also be Web-enized).

 

With a long list of mods, the initial conflict detection/resolution process can be a bit daunting (because of the number of potential conflicts), but FO3Edit and some patience and you'll have a compatible set of mods.

 

Grouping mods by "category" helps a lot. Timeslip's Fallout Mod Manager - FOMM is an invaluable tool for this and works hand-in-hand with FO3Edit. Between load-order adjusting and creating an FO3Edit merge patch plug-in, you'll find that the number of "seriously conflicted" mods drops to perhaps a few. Then it's a matter of deciding which unhappy camper gets tossed.
