opravdu
On the Fallout Wikia on the T-51b page it tells me that "It cannot be repaired, unless by a merchant."Does this mean any merchant can repair it?I got the patch 1.5 before i got the armor, so it started breaking. Now i'm currently unable to quicktravel so i can't check myself. If the armor cannot be repaired i will drop it and pick up someone else's. I hope you can help me. DagonTheranis
T-51b armour can only be repaired by a merchant, not by you. This is probably due to the fact that there is only one set in the game.
theLeeHarvey
Well, aside from the fact that there is only the one set in the game (unless you are counting the Winterized set from Operation: Anchorage), the T51b armor has no repair list entry in GECK. That's the main reason it cannot be repaired by the player. I suggest going to Canterbury Commons and talking to Uncle Roe about investing in the merchants. If you invest 700 caps total on Crazy Wolfgang, he can repair your T51b armor better than any other merchant in the game. Investing in him completely will raise his repair skill to 88 (I think). He wont be able to repair the armor 100%, but even at 88% it still has a better Damage Resistance than any other power armor. If you have Broken Steel, you may be better off wearing Enclave Hellfire Armor. It has the same DR as the T51b, but it also has added fire resistance and a strength bonus and you can repair it yourself using other sets of Hellfire armor. Plus it looks really sinister  .
spammster
not to mention that the winterized version, doesn't really deteriorate (it does but its sooooooo slow, you won't barely notice it unless you play the same game for weeks)

Andaius
There is a console trick that opens up a merchant screen with you the player as the merchant. So in effect you pay yourself to fix stuff at your repair skill. :) I forgot the commands though. Guess you have to look them up in the Wiki. 3rdtryguy
It's: player.srm. srm = skill repair merchant = you don't need parts to fix anything, just caps. HOWEVER, you don't even really need the caps. It demands you have the caps to pay, but then it lets you keep your caps since you're paying yourself!Anyway, it's very handy for keeping everything in top shape when you otherwise have no hope.
