csb
Okay ... time for the no-nonsense direct approach  In Windows Explorer go to your Fallout3 Data folder. Expand textures, expand characters, expand female. Now open TYPE3_V2_TEXTURE_pack in your archive utility. Open textures, then characters, then female. You'll see the following files:handfemale.ddshandfemale_1st.ddshandfemale_1st_n.ddshandfemale_1st_sk.ddshandfemale_n.ddshandfemale_sk.ddsupperbodyfemale.ddsupperbodyfemale_n.ddsupperbodyfemale_sk.ddsDrag these files from the archive utility into Windows Explorer (opened to the right sub directory, above). It will ask if you want to overwrite. Overwrite. Now for the meshes. In Windows Explorer, traverse to Data/meshes/characters/_male (Okay, I hate that, I admit it ... why isn't there a corresponding female folder? Dumb ol' Bethesda.) Now open up TYPE3 BODY V3dot5 in your archive utility. You should see the following folders:TYPE3 BASE CALI bodyTYPE3 BASE HD bodyTYPE3 BERRY bodyTYPE3 BERRY HD bodyTYPE3 SLIM bodyOpen ONE of those folders. Note: they all contain a meshes folder. Which mesh you use depends on the body style you want. If you aren't sure, go to Dim's TYPE3 page and look at screenshots. It is recommended that you don't drool on your keyboard or monitor. Expand the meshes folder of choice, then expand characters, and then _male. You should see the following:femaleupperbody.nifDag that from the archive into your Windows Explorer folder view (again, as specified above). You'll be prompted, again choose to overwrite. Cool. Close the archive utility. Close Windows Explorer. Start Fallout3 Mod Manager (FOMM) by Timeslip. Click the "Toggle invalidation" button (fourth from the bottom). If you get the "Remove archive invalidation?" dialog, select "No" ... you're done. If you get the "Apply archive invalidation?" dialog, select "Yes" ... congrats, you're done. Click the "Launch Fallout3" button at the top. Yay! Enjoy the game, everything is in its proper place.
fiznerpin
 did that too! updated the driver for my 8800 on a whim, no good. I even re-installed the game after wiping it off my hard drive, re-installed FOMM & corresponding mods... this is a triple banger! :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: I have like six hours into trying to get a few hot babes in my computer room. Something is defenitely f@*ked up here...
fiznerpin
OK. tried the windows explore thing AGAIN. Using naouak's - still looking good on dead raiders... others "ok", but with missing textures (no nipples, for poo's sake!) & those shaggy "panties" - same as before, even my dancers at moriority's strip club aren't "right". AAARRGH! ( now the riverboat is a bunch of red prisms & white exclamation marks & I cant exit out of pip-boy! :wallbash: WTF??) Here's a stupid question: think I should be starting a new game???? Anyhow, going to delete all savegames... take the whole bethesda softworks file & dump it... same with FOMM.... going to start over. :verymad: (also: type 3 by dimon was deleted & re-downloaded 3 times, in case of the corrupted file voodoo - still no worky-worky. same issue with Naouak's) I'm tellin' ya - 47 year old gamer trying to get this crap rollling... sure sign of being married too long :whistling: ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED..... mooncarver
actually i remember having the same problem with the pc's panties. thats when i've noticed, something wasn't right with the type3 body installation. i redownloaded the mod files and noticed that i've missed the texture pack. after that, it worked. i really don't know what else to say regarding this problem.
