So, i'm following the guide on Bethesda's website about making vault 74. It worked fine and i learned how to use it. The GECK is installed to the correct location, and when i went to the launcher into "Data Files" there was no Vault74.esp to check. I checked in Fallout 3's Data folder for the esp, which wasn't there. Being worried if it have been removed, i went the the GECK and loaded Vault74.esp and Fallout3.esm with Vault74 as the active file. It loaded fine, everything i made before was here. Now i searched my computer for "*.esp" but all it found was a shortcut to Vault74.esp. Not the file itself. It ended the search here. Help?

Thanks.

I guess you have windows vista, and you didnt launch geck with administrator. The folder your esp might be is C:\Users\"Your Username in windows vista"\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\

I suggest you to run geck with administrator next time so you dont have to use this terribly long route to the esp file. Once you´ve found it, move it to your original Fallout 3 Data folder. Default is C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\

I hope this helped
