theLeeHarvey
I am making a mod for a new weapon, and in looking at the effects that can be applied I noticed that Damage Health and Poison are both listed. My question is, what exactly does poison do if there is a separate effect to damage the health of the target? What would be the reasoning for choosing poison for a weapon effect over damage health? Zumbs
The difference is what value the afflicted actor can use to resist damage. The player or NPCs resist poison with their Endurance (and other bonuses), whereas Damage Health cannot be resisted. If you open the effect at Game Effects->Base Effects and take a look at the three dropdowns in the upper lefthand corner, you will see an option to set resistances to the effect. theLeeHarvey
I see, so if I wanted to create a weapon that would reduce the health of the target and ignore their resistances, I would use damage health instead of poison. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Kudos.
