Better Cities help

I need a little help with Banana Split's Better Cities mod. I have the resources.esm and full.esp in there, but there are alot of 'Wtf! I'm missing a mesh!' Signs. Alot of it works, but more of it doesn't. I used BOSS to get the load order, which is currently:

I ran BOSS twice, and then disabled all of the other mods. Still, there were alot of meshes gone mad, albeit less.

You didn't install the full package. That's the only explanation I can think of.

Maybe... I think that it'd be alot easier if I had an OMOD. Are there any that you know of? I google'd it and no dice, just showing how to make your own. I don't have some of the things that are included, like the delivery job, etc. I DO have the other ones though, Haylcon Island, armorylab, knightly armory, Verona House, etc.

Download all three packages from the Better Cities page, and use OBMM to make three separate OMODS from the downloads.

 

Do not unpack the files, just leave them zipped, and use the 'Add archive' button for each one (I'm sure you can follow the instructions from the various OMOD creations tutorials).

 

Once you've made the three OMODS, activate them in OBMM (You'll be asked a few questions during the file install\activation), and make sure that the Better Cities esp loads last in your load order. If it's not, move it to the end.

 

Try playing again and see if it's fixed.

They all have .esms and .esps, will OBMM compress them both? There is a choice at the bottom that says Data files or plugins. Which one is right?

Better Cities OMODS

 

That's a Zzip archive of the three BC OMODS I use.

 

Just use them like any other OMOD. Activate them in this order:

 

1. Better Cities

2. Better Cities Resources BSA 4.3.2

3. Better Cities Resources Update 4.3.8

 

Still remember to make sure that the Better Cities esp is at the very bottom of your load order. The files should automatically place themselves in the correct order once they've loaded. It's if you add more mods afterwards that you will have to watch your load order.

I know you were aiming to get omod's but I

was looking at my install notes to see how

I installed better cities and I used wrye bash

this was before the patch out in 2017 though.

here's a copy n paste of those notes if this helps with your install

adjust your answers in the wizards to your own setup

Start Wrye Bash

Installers Tab (top left of window)

Right click Better Cities-16513-6-0-7.7z and select Wizard

Choose files to install. Better Cities Next

Choose which cities to install selected all Next

Install script finished. Apply these selections

Close bash when finished

Boss

Enable all mods with a green square

Rebuild patch
