einherjrar
I'm having trouble creating (partially) transparent magazines for some weapons; How can I give a mesh a partial transparency? I remember being able to do it once, but I seem to have forgotten how... -ein
PantherX69
You need to do 2 things. First you need to add an alpha channel to the magazine texture to show what parts are transparent (white is opaque and black is transparent). Next in Nifskope right-click on NiTriStrips of the magazine and go to Node\Attachproperty. In the list that pops up click NiAlphaProperty. The It should now be transparent in the 3d window. Note: If the entire texture is to be transparent you can skip the first part entirely. Once you attach the NiAlphaProperty you make the magazine transparent by clicking on the palette icon next to NiMaterialProperty and reducing the amount of alpha at the bottom (less alpha means less opaque).
