I need some help with my SFx

Hey, I am the author/creator of SFx (Don't ask me what it means), and I'm stuck in a rutt.

 

I'm making an update for my mod that changes the models of all my soups, and stocks, and the icons for the pipboy, but I also wanted to make a large update afterwards, but it surpasses my knowledge of using the G.E.C.K. I was wondering if someone could help me out with it (Teaching me how to do what I'm trying to do).

Editing models and textures (icons) requires use of Blender and GIMP respectively. There are other programs, but those are quite commonly used and are, most importantly, free.

 

Knowledge of the GECK won't really help with anything but the implementation of those edited models and textures.

I don't think you understood what I meant, or I don't even understand it myself. I have the knowledge of editing models and textures and such, so that's taken care of. What I want help on, is adding functions to the mod itself. Like, I want to learn how to make it so I can interact with various things, like make a cupboard for cheese aging, where you'd press your interact button, and the little window will pop up with options of what to do.

You want to make menus for your items? There's a tutorial dedicated to exactly that. It can be found here: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php?title=Adding_an_Options_Menu.

 

However, as a first foray into scripting, menus can be quite daunting. You might want to learn some of the basics before attempting that, I'd recommend taking a look at Cipscis' scripting tutorials.
