Armour and Weapon mods not working

Hi, i am fairly recent to this whole forum thing so il try my best.

 

I have downloaded armour and weapon mods for fallout 3, and have put them onto the game buy using FOMM. This works (a bit), the weapon or armour is in the place the mod maker puts it (like the 40k death korps armour in Crater side supplies) i can buy them and they fit well. The only problem is that the texture and colour of the armour or weapon seems strange. E.G. The 40k death korps armour keeps changing colour and texture as i move about, the helmet and gasmask seem to be purely black and have no colour or texture added, i know ive downloaded the full file but this seems to happen to all armour and weapon mods i use. Can someone please help me?
