Oblivion won't run full-screen

Hello, I'm obviously new to the forums.

 

For some reason, Oblivion will not run full-screen on Vista.

 

It will only run like this: Screenshot

 

I've tried everything I can think of including:

 

Changing the settings on the icon to run full-screen

Changing resolution of game

Disabling second monitor

Running in computability mode

 

Other programs will go right to full screen no problem, just not Oblivion for some reason.

 

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

is there an auto tune on your monitor? I had that happen with FO3,pushed the auto tune and problem resolved

Well it looks to me like your running it on a laptop eah? Good show, I do the same.

I also run Vista and haven't had any trouble running it fullscreen. But if the previus post from elmore didn't help then once you bring up the Oblivion launcher, Click on 'Options' nd on the lower left hand side of the options box you'll see a section called 'Modes' You can then choose Windowed or Fullscreen modes (Illastration below). Maybe this is one of the things you've already tried.. i couldn't quite catch hat you ment by changing from the icon to full-screen.. if this doesn't work then, well.. idk.. guess and check. Hope i works out for you. Good luck
