Erimar
Okay, so, every time I attempt to enter The Bannered Mare in Whiterun, I get an almost instantaneous crash. The mods I have don't directly add any NPC's or anything substantial that I know of. I did have Wyrmstooth and that added an NPC and pissed something off, so I though it was that and I deleted the whole mod and well, nothing happened, I still get regular crashes. I would just like to say that I have BOSS, have TES5Edit, and Wrye Bash and run them through the Mod Organizer so they all know all of my mods. Not having any of those things is not my issue. Erimar
Update: It appears I get a CTD after spending 'x' amount of time in Whiterun.
Rebeky
Hi, I was having some terrible CTDs for a long time... on saving, on loading, alt-tabbing and also just randomly. Someone shared with me a wonderful fix! Skyrim has a limit to the amount of data your mods can use.1. Google "CFF Explorer" and download that tool2. Run the program and click file > open. Open up your TESV.exe located in your Skyrim folder.3. On the left, click on "File Header" and then click on the "Click here" cell in the bottom-right of the grid.4. Check "App can handle >2gb address space"5. Save and close. This fixed 95% of my CTDs, hopefully that will help you too! Also, I highly recommend using this tool after every time that you uninstall a mod. Uninstalling mods using NMM is good, but sometimes it does not remove certain scripts. These "orphaned" scripts can really mess up your game. This tool detects orphaned scripts and removes them. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? Good luck ^_^
Erimar
Well, that's not my problem, I don't think. It's nowhere else but when I attempt to enter the Bannered Mare. I simply cannot go in lest the game crash on me.

This is not necessary, and in fact, you should not do this, because Skyrim is already LAA aware since path 1.3.1.
Erimar
It's a good thing when I ran the program I noticed that tidbit and didn't uncheck it.
ripple
You can use the 'brute force' method to find the mod(s) implicated in any reproducible CTDs: divide your plugins into two groups (with the exception of the DLCs, patch esm, and the unofficial patches). Disable one group, see if that allows you to enter the Banner Mare. If it does not, re-enable the first group and disable the second group. If that lets you get into the Banner Mare, then sub-divide the second group into two groups, and repeat the process. Keep doing this until you find the one plugin that causes the CTD when enabled. velve666
You're using all three water enhancement mods? Not sure if it will fix your ctd I doubt it, but It will be a good idea to use only one..unless theyre just in your log and are actually deactivated, but I cant tell. I would also mess around and get those mods at the bottom above your bashed patch. Move them around logically to where you think they might fit in your load order.
