andersz Posted November 5, 2009 Share Posted November 5, 2009 before starting i should write that my english is bad i have a little if not big problem with fallout everytime i try to load/continue, turn the radio on, entering a new area, or fast travel the game freeze for around a minute then continues as nothing has happened it began appering after i upgraded to windows vista from windows 7 but i dont really think that was the reason as i could play it without error before anybody has the same problem? or know how to fix it? My pc specs are: OS: Windows Vista business SP2Video Card: Asus EN9600gt 1GBMemory: 3GB RAMProssecor: Intel® Core2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
spammster Posted November 5, 2009 Share Posted November 5, 2009 you went from win7 to vista ? now why would you do a thing like that ? you could try reinstalling it, theres a chance that the ragistry files etc. all got messed up during that process (especially since you DOWNgraded your system (for the worse not to mention)) also follow all the usual fixes: latest driver, k-lite, 1.7 patch etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

csb Posted November 5, 2009 Share Posted November 5, 2009 In addition to the above solution, also download the K-Lite codec utility and install it. It disables fddshow in Fallout3 (and Oblivion too).
