Fallout 3 NPCs Float-Walking/sitting while standing

The NPCs in my game are really weird. When they move, their legs don't move. When they sit then stand, they are either in the sit position or float-walk. Also, when they sit, they look like they are laying down. PLEASE HELP!! This only seems to happen when I load a save, but that would mean whenever I play, I would have to start a new game!!!!!

The only thing I can think of ... did you install any mods with new animations? If yes, a follow-up question: is bArchiveInvalidation...(whatever) set to 1 in the .ini file?

If you have Fallout Mod Manager by Timeslip, you can check by clicking the "Toggle invalidation" button. If it prompts you with a message to turn it off, select no, it is already enabled -- though disabling, exiting FOMM and then re-starting FOMM and re-enabling certainly can' t hurt.

If it asks to enable, then select "Yes", of course.

Going back to the first question once you are sure that archive invalidation is indeed set to 1, if you did install a new mod with animations, it could very well be that you got "bad" animations. Go to that mod's forum page and read the Comments to see if others are experiencing the same thing, and what -- if anything -- the mod author responded with.

Otherwise, I'm in the same camp as LeeHarvey ... stumped.

I got the same problem except firstly i dont have mods, and secondly it works perfect on my Windows Login but not the person im trying to fix (we on the same computer and we both Admins).

I looked around and i used this skullptura final fix, he said use that until Bethesda patches the game properly so i did this on my login but not the persons im trying to fix. Do you think i should use final fix again?
