bben46 Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 It may be the Oblivion.ini is still expecting the old saves. Try deleting the Oblivion.ini - located in the same place as the saved games. Then when you restart, the game will automatically create a new Oblivion.ini. You may have to change things like your video settings and other things that are set in the ini back to the way you like them. But that is a small price to pay for a working game. Which patch? Oblivion or Shivering Isles. If you have SI, DO NOT use the Oblivion Patch, ONLY use the SI patch. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Khettienna Posted November 8, 2009 Share Posted November 8, 2009 In Windows Explorer, click Tools, the Folder Options. Click on the View tab, then uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types".
